RE Summer Tour
Seraphim Energy and Columbia Basin Solar are conducting a free Renewable Energy Summer Tour, providing an introduction to solar (both PV and Thermal), wind, micro-hydro and other renewable energy options. The tour will begin on Thursday evening, July 10th, at the Hermiston Chamber of Commerce Conference Center, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, located at 415 Hwy 395 South.
Anyone interested in renewable energy is invited to attend this free seminar, presenting the benefits of going solar, using renewable energy to save money, and help the environment. Financial incentives from the Federal government and the state of Oregon make these systems a great bet for homes and businesses. Major and accessible technologies will be covered, including solar thermal (hot water), solar electric (PV), wind generators and micro-hydro generators. A broad overview of these technologies will be presented, as well as how they can specifically be used in residential, commercial, and off-grid applications. There will be a Q&A session at the close, and educational and promotional material available upon request.
Columbia Basin Solar is a plumbing contracting company based in Richland, Washington, specializing in solar hot water consulting, design and installation services.
